Located on the top of Texas sits Worley Hospital. It was built in the 1930’s and was the second hospital built in Pampa. The original owners really cared about the community however with the lack of revenue the hospital eventually closed its doors in the 1970’s. Paranormal groups have investigated the building due to the rumors of locals seeing a silhouette of a person standing in the window. The building has been broken into countless times and vandalized. However, this does not discourage the current owners hope into renovating the building into a ministry one day.

  1. I saw the same thing during the same time period.. I invited her in and we made love all night and when I woke up I was stuck to my bed sheets

I started working for Cabot Corporation Machinery Division in 1965. I was in the cut shed and bumped my right shin on a bucket that had chips and grease in it. The top was all jagged. My leg became infected. I went to Dr. Overton and he entered me into the Worley Hospital. I was there for nine days with my leg propped up.,taking antibiotics. One night while I was there around 11:00 PM o'clock, there was an elderly lady mopping the hall and just slightly into my doorway. The next morning when my breakfast was served I asked the nurse on duty about the women janitor mopping the hall and mopping in my doorway.. She answered, "We don't have janitors on duty that late at night." She looked at me shocked and didn't tell me it couldn't happen, she just dropped the subject.
My Great Grand Mother Katharina Riemer was born in Germany on March 20, 1866. She died in the Worley Hospital on November 29, 1938. She died in the South East corner room on the second floor. She left this world surrounded by all of her loved ones.
